Inside Counter Offers: Our show at 3daysofdesign

Inside Counter Offers: Our show at 3daysofdesign

At this year’s 3daysofdesign, we took over a classic barber shop in the heart of Copenhagen and reimagined it as a temporary Veark space.

The shop was stripped back and rebuilt around a single idea: the kitchen as a social anchor. At the centre of the room, we had a kitchen counter by our exhibition partner TERMINO, surrounded by Veark's signature modular racks lining the walls. Alongside our core collection, we presented prototypes and upcoming products, offering a glimpse into what’s next for us.

We called the show Counter Offers, a reflection on how kitchens naturally draw people in. Like at any good house gathering, the counter became a place to pause, connect, and exchange. Throughout the week, visitors dropped in continuously, creating a steady rhythm of conversations despite the shifting Copenhagen weather, from sudden showers to perfect clear blue skies.

The space hosted a series of informal events that brought the concept to life. Together with Plates Magazine, we co-hosted a lineup of food-led moments:

  • Bernardo Costantino prepared his signature green omelettes

  • Monika Varšavskaja served pincho de tortilla with dill mayo

  • Zoë Mowat of Wave and Frequencies (WAF) curated and played music over afternoon drinks, adding a sonic layer to the experience

Across the week, we had the opportunity to meet a wide range of visitors—from design professionals and retailers to an international mix of 3daysofdesign design enthusiasts, making the space as much about exchange as it was about display, just as we intended.

Special thanks to Kasia Sznajder for events curation.
