How many modules can I connect together?
As many as your wall allows. Each RS-M40 module is 40cm wide and connects to the next using the signature connectors, so you can build anything from a single module to a full wall system, and expand it later as your kitchen changes.
Does the magnet hold anything besides knives?
The magnetic surface is strong enough for knives and other magnetic steel tools, and each module comes with hooks for pots, towels or bags. For non-magnetic items like wooden utensils or spice jars, add the Rack Container or Rack Shelf, which clip on perfectly along the system.
What do I need to install it?
Each rack comes with the screws needed to mount it to your wall, no extra hardware required. Any single person can install it in a few minutes; you'll just want your own level on hand to make sure it goes up straight.
Can I install it without drilling into the wall?
Yes. While we strongly recommend using the included screws for maximum stability and safety, some customers have successfully mounted their rack using 3M double-sided adhesive strips with no issues. This works best in relatively dry environments, and it's essential to clean the wall thoroughly, removing all dust and residue, before installing.
How do I clean and care for the rack?
Wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry it thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the brushed steel finish to keep it looking sharp over time.
Can I customize the look of my connectors?
Yes. The system comes with our signature blue connectors and a pair of interchangeable grey connectors if you prefer a more understated look.
